Managing Orders

You’ve got enough on your plate: handling tons of orders from all those online ordering platforms can get a little chaotic (to put it lightly). Ordermark is here to make it easy for you to stay organized and quickly get orders out to the right drivers, efficiently!

Order Homescreen
  • Your Order homescreen is the central location to view all online orders.
  • You can filter by Active Orders, Cancelled Orders, or Future Orders by using the drop-down at the top of the screen.
  • To see the full order in the ticket format, click Details on the order.
  • If you experience any issues with an order (a driver doesn’t show up, you forgot an item), click into the order Details, scroll to the bottom of the ticket and type out the issue. Our team will reach out to resolve.

When a driver arrives to pick-up an order, double check which platform they are with (DoorDash, Postmates, etc.) and confirm the customer name to make sure you’re giving out the correct order!

Reprint a Ticket

If your printer didn’t print the ticket for the order (or you ran out of paper!), click Reprint next to the order to have a new ticket printed.

86ing Items

Ran out of french fries? We’ve got you covered! To 86 a menu item from all platforms, please make sure you’re logged into your Ordermark Dashboard with the User login then click the Menu Tab. From the list of available items, find the item you need to remove, and select 86 Item. Our team will handle the rest!

Contacting a Customer

Need to contact a customer because of an order issue? We’ll do it for you! Send a request to our team by clicking the order, navigating to Details and typing out your request at the bottom of the ticket.

Pausing Orders

We get it, sometimes things get too busy and you need to pause your incoming orders.

  • To temporarily pause your incoming orders, click the Pause Services button at the top of the Orders page.
  • From here, select the service(s) you would like to pause. Note: Pause requests for services without an API integration take longer to process. Next, choose how long you want to stop receiving orders from the selected service(s). If you want to pause services until the following day, select “Pause All Day”.
  • Next, enter your name to confirm the pause request. This helps us quickly resolve any issues if they occur.

Steps Breakdown:

  1. Click Pause Services button at the top of the orders page
  2. Select the service(s) you would like to pause
  3. Choose how long you want to pause the selected service(s)
  4. Enter your name to confirm the pause request
Troubleshooting

If you’re experiencing any issues with your Tablet, please try the following steps:

  • Refresh the app.
    • Navigate to the Help tab, find and click the Refresh App button.
  • If a white screen appears when attempting to login to your Ordermark Dashboard, visit the Wifi App button from the tablet’s homescreen. You’re likely experiencing a Wifi connectivity issue.
  • If your tablet breaks for any reason, please contact our support team for assistance.

If you’re experiencing any issues with your Printer, please try the following steps:

  • If you experience any issues with your printer not printing, check to make sure you have paper!
  • If you have paper and the printer still will not print, check to make sure your Wireless Link is connected. A printer will not print orders if it disconnects from the internet. To troubleshoot Printer connectivity issues, please select your setup below and follow the instructions on the following page.

What does the Ordermark System include?

One thermal Epson T88 printer and one Samsung tablet with the Ordermark dashboard that connects to the restaurant’s WiFi

Where do I make menu changes, in the Grubhub Portal or Ordermark Sync?

Only use Ordermark to make menu changes. You can send menu requests to your Account Manager.

Where can I see my customer-facing online menu?

Please use the restaurant’s Grubhub page to see the most up to date menu.

Where can I view reporting?

All reporting is accessed through the Ordermark Admin login.

Please login to your Admin account and click the Bar Chart icon in the left navigation bar to view your reports. This tab will allow you to see daily average sales, selling items, which delivery service is making you the most amount of money, etc.

What if the Ordermark dashboard says: "Cannot Connect to Service" or "No Network Connection"?

If you’re experiencing technical difficulties, please go to the home screen and select the Wi-Fi icon to re-connect your tablet to the restaurant’s Wi-Fi or to Ordermark LTE. If you are connecting to Ordermark LTE, the password is printorders.

How do I reboot the printer?

  • Make sure the black power cable is plugged in securely on the back of the printer.
  • Once this cable is plugged in securely to the printer, follow the cable to the power brick.
  • Make sure the power cable is connected securely to the power brick and also plugged in securely to the outlet on the wall or power strip.
  • Push the power button on the front of the printer to turn the printer on. You will see a blue light on top of the printer once the printer is successfully powered on. On the back of the printer you should have a green and orange/yellow light that should also be lit up when the printer is powered on.

Who do we contact if our printer or tablet is still not connected to the internet?

How do we handle order issues?

Please click on the “Details” button to the right of the order, next to the “reprint Order” button. Once the order details pops up on the screen, you can submit an order issue at the bottom of the ticket.

Do we need to purchase our own printer paper?

Yes. The Epson T88 uses thermal paper that is 3 ⅛” in size and is normally smooth on one side and if scratched with a coin will leave a gray mark.

Do…

  • Have antennas pointed upwards
  • Place the device somewhere high up (if possible)
  • Have it in an open area
  • Place in cool area

Don’t…

  • Don’t place near any type of metals
  • Don’t place it in a drawer
  • Don’t place under a cabinet
  • Don’t place near refrigerator
  • Don’t place near anything with a motor (ex. blenders)
  • Don’t place it where it can get hot
